Jane was diagnosed with cancer in November last year and started her treatment in January.
"Not a problem!" was her response ....and astonishingly she remained positive and active throughout the gruelling courses of chemo and radio therapy which finished in May this year.
During these last three months, she has not only managed her own livery yard almost single-handedly as well as instructing and arranging jumping competitions but she has been back in the saddle herself..successfully showjumping at a high level!
At the Royal Welsh Show she and her beloved 20 year old horse Island Sound (Izzy) beat off all other competitors to win The Retrained Racehorse Challenge and the pair were also part of the Flint & Denbigh Inter-hunt Relay team which carried off First Prize (see picture)
What an inspiration..!
Well done Jane!!
